Dear      I am writing to you concerning HB 0165 which addresses the tethering of dogs and other housing issues for dogs. I believe this bill will raise the standards of our quality of care and owner responsibility in the state. Since, Governor Rendell has formed a task force to look at the Dog Kennel regulations in Pennsylvania, it is only fit for the conditions that some dogs are forced to live under, and are not part of the kennel laws needs to be addressed.      I would ask for your support of this bill HB 1065 without amendments. We do not want any amendments to weaken the bill. Please vote yes for the bill as stated and approved from the Judiciary Committee. Vote yes, for a better life for thousands of dogs isolated at the end of a chain. Sincerely,
